A large number of restaurants specialising in seafood will offer you these delicacies as well as other seasonal catch. There are also many shops, markets and services for all needs. Cancale also offers some very pleasant sheltered beaches. There is much to do throughout the year with art galleries, museums and festivals. A plethora of sports and social clubs mean you can practise all sorts of sports, from archery, table tennis, hiking and volley ball to photography, boules, yoga and dancing. For a little TLC the Cancale Spa offers various treatments such as facials, aromatherapy, cocooning and massages.
Local food and gastronomy:
The supreme local delicacy is the oyster, but one can also try the Vitreais (almond cake), the roulade Sevigne (guinea fowl with apple), galette saucisse (buckwheat pancake with hot sausage) and Craquelin de Saint Malo (a light breakfast cracker).
